Fred Blesi

Fred Blesi caddied as a young man at Moraine Country Club in Ohio and went on to become a successful business executive. He served as Chairman and CEO of the Phosphate Chemicals Export Association and as vice president at International Minerals and Chemicals.

In recognition of his time spent caddying as a young man, his use of caddying as a steppingstone to professional success and his dedication to youth caddies and the Western Golf Association and Evans Scholars Foundation, Blesi earned a place in the Caddie Hall of Fame, which recognizes individuals who support caddying.

Blesi said, “I feel very lucky to be inducted. There’s no question in my mind that the best thing Chick Evans ever did was start the Evans Scholars Program. It is one of the best scholarships anywhere, with a winning formula that is the reason why these kids become so successful.”
